One item? $4.25 per square inch
i.e. dog, cat, horse, flower, house or simple landscape
A person? $5.00 per square inch (starting price, depends on image)
A person and animal or two people? $10.00 per square inch
Framing? Happy to help guide you. My labor to frame is $40 plus cost of frame. I can help you choose from brands I know.

I never regret taking time to be outside with plein air painting and Urban Sketching. It’s exciting to capture the moment. The immediacy, light, energy and excitement can’t be matched.
I love flowers. Peonies are my favorite and I have 25 of them in my yard. I finally ran out of room. I spent three years creating my gardens. It was a process I embraced over painting and drawing for my creative outlet. I learned so much. It was a giant 3-D puzzle playing with height, texture, flowering season, color and proper placement for plants to thrive. It’s backbreaking work but you get to enjoy it year round. Now all I do is weed, remove plants and keep the pests away. I prefer creating over maintaining. Now I get to paint them!
Figures can be hard to sketch. They don’t stop moving unless you pay them. I’ve been figure drawing since High School. The Kansas City Art Institute had Saturday morning nude figure drawing classes. I occasionally do it now because Wild Goose Creative offers them.
I have about three sketchbooks rolling but I’m never very consistent with any of them. Consistency is always a challenge. I never kept a sketchbook in art school even though it was recommended. After 30 years I’d say I’ve improved by juggling 3.
Throw a bunch of stuff at the wall and see what sticks. What do I want to make art about? I like to make things and have fun. Sometimes you just try stuff. Bright colors make me happy but, I like the cleanliness of black and white. I’m so confused! Can you tell I’m a Scorpio?
